Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami won’ be a part of the tournament as they get extended break and recovery respectively. Mohammed Siraj pulled out of Duleep Trophy with illness and there are doubts about his participation in the IND vs BAN Tests. In such a scenario, India will have to field a team of young and inexperienced pacers.

But ahead of the Test series, in the dress rehearsal, the youngsters shone with flying colours. The trio of Avesh, Khaleel and Akash Deep managed to scalp 2 wickets a piece. In the other game, young pacer Harshit Rana too managed to bag 2 wickets, but the KKR bowlers is now deemed too young to be considered for India’s Test setup.

While Siraj is expected to be fit and lead India’s pace attack charge against Bangladesh, he would likely be paired with a couple of youngsters who have zero to little Test cricket experience.
