No one can keep Virat Kohli contained. Though he might not be playing in the India vs Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) Asia Cup clash, but the former India team skipper made it clear that he wants to remain as active as possible. In the first innings when India was bowling, Kohli became the 12th man and carried water bottles into the field.
After India’s bowling innings got over, Kohi didn’t waste a single second. He immediately went ahead for net practice. Earlier, before Kohli, Shreyas Iyer was spotted practicing at the nets. The middle-order batsman missed the game as he is yet to be fully fit from his back spasm injury.
On the other hand, Kohli dropping to the bench is entirely for other reasons. With the game having no importance as India faces Sri Lanka in the finals of the Asia Cup, the Men in Blue decided to give rest to some of their best stars.
These included the likes of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and others. But Kohli as usual was over-energized and decided to extend his helping services in the field.
