No rest for the weary! Rohit Sharma begins training for IND vs NZ, BGT 2024-25

Just days into a small break after IND vs BAN series, Rohit Sharma is back to training as he prepares for IND vs NZ Tests and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT)

India cricket team Test skipper Rohit Sharma is wasting no time in preparing for the upcoming Test season. Currently on a 14-day break following the IND vs BAN series, the Hitman was seen doing drills at the Jio Park in Mumbai. India will take on New Zealand in a three-match series starting from October 16 and then will travel to Australia in late November for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Rohit Sharma did not manage to convert explosive starts to good knocks in the recently concluded IND vs BAN Test series. Despite leading the side to a thumping 2-0 whitewash, Rohit will be wary of the need for him to start firing at the top, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal. He will look to improve his scores of 23, 8, 6 and 5 from the last four innings.
