Cloudy skies and drizzle forced both New Zealand and India to hold indoor practice sessions yesterday. And now on the eve of the IND vs NZ 1st Test in Bengaluru, India’s practice has been hampered owing to rain.
The India Cricket Team was slated to have their practice on Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM. But the practice couldn’t take place on scheduled time. The sky was cloudy in the morning with a bit of overnight drizzle. Looking at the weather, the team didn’t arrive at the stadium for practice.

Rain spoils Team India Practice
And then the heavens opened up and it continues to pour in Bengaluru. Team India have their pre match Press Conference scheduled at 12:30 PM. It remains to be seen when the team manages to reach the stadium and if at all practice can take place owing the weather gods taking no care for the upcoming match.
Rohit Sharma and Co couldn’t hit the ground yesterday. The weather in Bengaluru has been on the wetter side. There is 100% cloud cover with occasional drizzles. But the heavy rain on Tuesday morning forced the India team to remain at their team hotel and not come to the stadium.
Weather Forecast for IND vs NZ 1st Test
In terms of the weather it doesn’t look good for both sides. There is rain prediction on all 5 days of the game. India takes on the Kiwis in the first Test match on the 3-match series from Wednesday. As per the weather forecast, there is 40% chance of heavy rain on Day 1 and 2.
The worst to suffer will be day 3 which sees a rain prediction of 67%. After the initial three days, the rain is set to subside with 25% chance on the last 2 days. Therefore it can be said that the game will be troubled and hindered multiple times with the heavens opening up.
