Sarfaraz Khan is not holding any grudge against Ravindra Jadeja despite a terrible mix-up leading to his untimely run-out. The debutant was batting on 62 off 66 balls having already smashing the second joint-fastest half-century in Test debut. But the youngster has already got over it and has thanked for Jadeja’s guidance in the IND vs ENG 3rd Test.
”It is a part of the game. Miscommunication happens in cricket. Sometimes run-out happens, sometimes you get the runs,” Sarfaraz Khan said at the post-match press conference after day 1 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot.
Ravindra Jadeja admits mistake
However, later on, Ravindra Jadeja admitted his mistake. In an Instagram post, he praised Sarfaraz Khan for his gutsy knock on Test debut.
“Feeling bad for Sarfaraz. It was my wrong call. Well played,” Ravindra Jadeja posted.

Sarfaraz Khan too credited Ravindra Jadeja for his guidance. India had just lost Rohit Sharma after the India skipper slammed a century.
And when England were smelling blood, Sarfaraz took the attack to England. He scored at over a 100 strike rate, scoring 48-ball half-century.
“I spoke to Jadeja at lunch time and requested him to talk to me while playing. I like talking while playing. It was my first time. I told him that when I go out to bat, keep talking to me while playing. He kept talking and supported me a lot while I was batting,” Sarfaraz Khan added.
