Following KKR's win against SRH, Starc noted that both Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora were skillful, talented and were exciting to watch

Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Mitchell Starc threw his weight behind youngsters Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora to play for India and bag multiple wickets in the future. His remarks come after KKR entered IPL 2024 finals following the win against SRH in Qualifier 1. Starc noted that both Rana and Vaibhav were skillful, talented and were exciting to watch.

They (Arora and Harshit) are exciting to watch and are talented, they are skillful. It’s good to see how hard they train. Harshit has been phenomenal this year. Our bowling attack has been great, it’s hard to single anyone out. As an older and overseas player, it’s good to see. No doubt they’ll take many wickets in the IPL and for India as well,” Starc said.

Mitchell Starc led the assault against SRH batters in Qualifier 1, bagging three crucial wickets. Arora and Rana took one wicket each as KKR bowlers were successful in containing one of the most dangerous batting side in IPL.

Harshit Rana has bagged 17 wickets so far in IPL 2024, bowling at an economy rate of 9.40. He has been crucial for KKR in getting breakthroughs in the powerplay. Meanwhile, Vaibhav Arora has 10 wickets to his name at an economy rate of 9.33.

After ten days of no cricket, KKR punched their ticket to the IPL 2024 final in a convincing fashion. They thrashed SRH in a one-sided Qualifier 1 encounter. Starc’s early double blow crippled the Orange Army, who could only manage 159 all out.

Fifties from Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer then chased down the target with ease, showcasing KKR’s well-rounded performance.
