Former India opener Aakash Chopra raises one particular concern for RCB as they head into IPL 2024. The Faf du Plessis-led side will take on defending champions CSK in the tournament’s opener in Chennai on March 22. In a video on his YouTube channel, Chopra highlights that RCB lack quality spinners in their side.
RCB’s spin problem: Chopra explains
“Weakness is very evident in RCB. When I look at the bowling line up, I ask where is a spinner? Why haven’t you purchased any? They got Mayank Daggar from Hyderabad. But Daggar is going to do the same work as Shahbaz Nadeem was doing. Karn Sharna is a good bowler but you (RCB) hesitate to use him. There are domestic players as well but apart from that I see no big names,” Chopra explains in a video.
