Middle Order – Kane Williamson, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips
Captain Kane Williamson will don the number three spot after an impressive performance in the IPL 2021. Number 4 will be Devon Conway followed by Glenn Phillips. Conway’s strike rate can be an issue for the Blackcaps. Conway and Williamson are somewhat the same kind of players.

The spin attack will be led by Ish Sodhi who picked three wickets against England in the warm-up game. The deadly trio of Trent Boult, Lokie Ferguson and Kyle Jamieson will form a Blackcaps bowling attack. Trent Boult and Lokie Ferguson were in great form in the IPL however, Lokie’s fitness will be an issue for New Zealand. Kyle Jamieson has not played much in the 2nd half of the IPL.
