New king of death bowling: Ishan Kishan heaps praise on Avesh Khan after heroics vs DC

MI vs RR: Ahead of Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals, Ishan Kishan heaped praises for Avesh Khan after death bowling heroics

Ahead of the MI vs RR clash, Ishan Kishan and Avesh Khan shared a run moment while practice. The two players enjoyed a joyful interaction. MI keeper Ishan Kishan addressed Avesh Khan as the new King of Death Bowling. The comment from Ishan comes after Avesh Khan’s heroics in death bowling in the previous game against Delhi Capitals.

Avesh Khan went on to defend 16 runs in the last over against Delhi Capitals in their previous game. The RR bowler bowled perfect yorkers to trouble the DC batters from chasing down their total.

Ishan was pleased to see Avesh Khan during the practice. Ahead of hugging the speedster Ishan Kishan addressed him as, “Brother, the new king of death bowling is here.”

Avesh Khan defended 16 runs in the last over. As a result the hosts, Rajasthan Royals etched out a 12 run win against the Capitals. Avesh produced exceptional yorkers by giving away just 4 runs in the last over.

My plan was clear, one side was longer and I wanted to bowl wide yorkers. I gave myself 5 seconds every ball to think and then execute the plan. If the batters play a good shot, it’s good for him, but I always back my yorkers,” Avesh Khan said after his game.
