New coach Gautam Gambhir takes charge, leads team India’s practice session in Sri Lanka

Team India, under the leadership of new head coach Gautam Gambhir, has arrived in Sri Lanka and begun practice sessions. The Indian team will play T20I and ODI series in Sri Lanka.

First test for Gambhir

The upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka will be Gambhir’s initial test. His decisions, like appointing Suryakumar Yadav as T20I captain, have generated interest regarding his coaching strategies.

Tour Schedule

India’s tour kicks off with the T20I series starting on July 27th. All matches will be played in the evening, with the remaining two scheduled for July 28th and July 30th. Following this, the focus will shift to the three-match ODI series starting on August 1st. The final ODIs will be played on August 4th and 7th, respectively.
