New bromance: Kuldeep Yadav heaps praise for youngster Dhruv Jurel after stellar show in Ranchi Test

IND vs ENG Ranchi Test: Kuldeep Yadav impressed with youngster Dhruv Jurel's antics in IND vs ENG 4th Test

Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav’s bromance continues. The duo stitched a strong partnership on Day 2 and Day 3 to help India plug the deficit against England. Jurel narrowly missed out on his maiden Test ton after being dismissed on 90. But he has claimed that his understanding with Kuldeep Yadav is good.

The Indian leggie was brilliant with the bat. A crucial 28 run knock from Kuldeep was helpful in stitching a good partnership with Jurel. This helped India manged 307 runs in their first innings score. Jurel heaped praises for Kuldeep claiming they have good coordination as they have played domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh.

After his maiden Test fifty, Jurel brought on his salute celebration. That was a tribute to his father who was in the army. “He dedicated his fifty to his father,” claimed Kuldeep Yadav.

“I am extremely comfortable with him. We both are from Uttar Pradesh. I had no milestone on my mind when I was playing. I was only thinking of spending as much time as possible, which would be beneficial for the team,” said Dhruv Jurel.

“I had belief on him as I have played with him previously. So I am aware how he bats. He played a vital knock which was very important for the team,” Kuldeep concluded.
