“Naseem Shah is better than Bumrah,” Pakistan’s Ihsanullah makes controversial claim

Pakistan's Ihsanullah has boldly claimed that Naseem Shah is a better bowler than India's Jasprit Bumrah, sparking debate between the two fast bowling sensations.

Pakistan fast bowler Ihsanullah has made a striking statement, asserting that his fellow pacer Naseem Shah is superior to India’s star bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. Despite Bumrah being widely acknowledged as one of the finest bowlers across all formats, Ihsanullah firmly believes that Naseem’s abilities outshine Bumrah’s.

Naseem Shah vs Bumrah: Ihsanullah’s Bold Comparison

According to Ihsanullah, Naseem Shah is a better fast bowler than Jasprit Bumrah. Naseem, another promising product from Pakistan’s rich fast-bowling tradition, has made his mark in international cricket with his pace and swing. Ihsanullah, while acknowledging Bumrah’s achievements, highlighted Naseem’s consistent ability to produce match-winning performances across formats.

In a recent podcast, Ihsanullah confidently said, “If I compare Bumrah, then Naseem Shah is a better bowler than Bumrah.” When pressed further about Bumrah’s recent form, he added, “No, you are seeing that. Naseem Shah was also performing like this in the 2021 (2022) World Cup. It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t perform too well in a year. Still, Naseem Shah is better than him.”

Bumrah’s Impact on Indian Cricket

Jasprit Bumrah has undoubtedly been a game-changer for Indian cricket. His ability to swing the ball both ways and his accuracy has turned him into a top-bowler on the international stage. Bumrah’s contributions have been crucial in transforming India’s bowling attack, which is now considered stronger than their batting lineup. His knack for taking crucial wickets, especially overseas, has played a major role in India’s recent successes in Test cricket. In limited-overs formats, Bumrah has consistently delivered match-winning performances, proving his mettle under pressure.
