Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah’s first image of his successful shoulder surgery is going viral. The 20-year-old suffered a blow below his bowling shoulder and missed the Asia Cup and World Cup. PCB physios and doctors assessed Naseem’s shoulders and advised him to go under the knife. The right-hand pacer underwent surgery, and his picture was shared by one of his fans from the hospital, and by the pacer himself too.
Taking to Twitter Naseem wrote, “Alhamdulillah, I’m recovering well. Your prayers and well wishes have been my strength. Thank you all for your support. 🙏” After the surgery, Naseem will be in the rehabilitation center. The pacer won’t be seen in action for at least six to eight weeks. After the World Cup, Pakistan are set to tour Australia. The Pakistani pacer is likely to be ruled out of the series.

Speaking about Naseem, he repeatedly kept complaining that he was having some issues with his shoulder. However, PCB officials did not pay heed to any of his complaints. The pacer’s injury aggravated during the Asia Cup, and eventually, he was ruled out of the Continental Cup.
“Naseem’s injury is a disaster for Pakistan team’s medical panel and physiotherapist. Because he has been constantly complaining that he is having problems for three to four months they were continuously playing him. A player would always wish to not get dropped but when he is telling you about his injury, you have to take it very seriously. The medical panel didn’t take it seriously. This was a recipe for disaster,” Moin Khan said to Cricket Pakistan.
