Sarfaraz Khan has heaped huge praises for his young brother Musheer Khan. Sarfaraz had his dream come true when he got a call up for the National Team in for the IND vs ENG 2nd Test. The older brother went on to claim that Musheer is a better batter. Sarfaraz even claimed that he learns a lot from his younger brother.
Musheer Khan hammered a sensational ton against New Zealand in the Group 1 Super Sixes match. Musheer’s century comes as a tribute for his older brother who received his maiden Test call up the other day.
“He’s (Musheer) a better batter than me. I’m not saying this because he’s my brother. Sometimes, I may be struggling but watching his technique and trying to work out what he’s doing would give me confidence,” Sarfaraz Khan told ESPNcricinfo.
Musheer has been a revelation for India’s U19 squad. The 18 year old batter took the task on his shoulders to take India to the top spot by hammering his second ton in the tournament. On the other hand, it is joyous period for his older brother.
Sarfaraz Khan got his dream come true after receiving his maiden call up. The 26-year old batter experienced repeated snubs before KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja’s injury paved the way for his inclusion.
“His mannerisms, bat flow is very good. Sometimes when I’m not batting well, I look at him and learn,” Sarfaraz concluded.
