The T20 World Cup victory celebrations are in full swing with Team India landing in Delhi in the early hours of Thursday. The Indian team were scheduled to meet PM Narendra Modi at PM’s residence. From there, there are supposed to go to Mumbai to take part in an open bus parade.
Mumbaikars to meet Mumbai CM on June 5
Now, news has emerged that the Mumbai players of the team, namely captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube will meet Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde at the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha on June 5, Friday.

Shiv Sena’s invitation accepted
“Today’s program in Mumbai has been organised by BCCI. Team India players from Mumbai including Captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal will come to the Maharashtra Assembly tomorrow to meet CM Eknath Shinde. Being a member of MCA, I invited the players and they have accepted my invitation,” Shiv Sena leader Pratap Sarnaik told ANI.
Since returning to India, it has been a hectic few hours for the cricketers. They are currently enroute Mumbai from the PM residence where there will take part in an open victory parade.
