MUL beats ISL; PSL 2021 Qualifier: Multan Sultans defeats Islamabad United by 31 runs to enter finals- Multan Sultans have defeated table-toppers Islamabad United by 31 runs to enter the finals of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021). The loser of this clash will face the winner of the eliminator tomorrow. Usman Khawaja was the top scorer with 70 runs while all the batsmen struggled in Islamabad United. Sohail Tanvir was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets while Imran Tahir also scalped two wickets.
Earlier, a top batting performance from Shan Maqsood (half-century), and 40s from Johnson Charles and Khushdil Shah took Multan Sultans to 180/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Faheem Ashraf and Shadab Khan took a couple of wickets each.
