PSL 2024 Final: Islamabad United win last-ball thriller to claim record 3rd title

Islamabad is the first team to win three titles in the PSL. Having won their last two finals in 2016 and 2018, a six-year wait has worked wonders for them in 2024.

Islamabad United (ISU) has created history by becoming the first team to win three tiles in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Playing an in-form Multan Sultans in the PSL 2024 Final, it was Imad Wasim’s all-rounder brilliance that handed Shadab Khan and Co. a tight 2-wicket victory in the PSL 2024 Final. 

Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United Scorecard

Having won their last title in 2018, Shadab brought back the glory to his franchise by toppling Mohammad Rizwan’s Multan Sultans (MS). The Sultans, who have been the best side in the league over the last couple of years, won the title in 2021 and reached the finals in 2022 and 2023, but have fallen short once, losing their third consecutive final.
