Earlier in the day, the Yellow giants took to social media to pay tribute to their skipper. Later on, CSK released a wonderful emotional video where the players of the team were seen giving their views on the legendary batter. Youngster Shivam Dube recounted how he was left awestruck on meeting Dhoni for the first time.
“One of the biggest things in my life was when I saw him for the first time at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. I wasn’t able to talk to him. I never get nervous talking to others but when I saw him, he walked past me, I was not able to greet him,” said Shivam Dube.
“The best thing about being in his team is that your confidence increases while the pressure of the game decreases,” Dube added.
“The ability to remain as calm as possible in any situation, in the face of adversity, you are not always in the position that he just seems to make the right decision whenever it’s necessary,” said Eric Simmons.

One of the most iconic moment’s in Dhoni’s career was winning the ICC World Cup in 2011. It was Dhoni’s mega sixer that gave India the victory against Sri Lanka.
“As a cricket fan, you have watched the moment multiple times. But when you watch it from his perspective in his movie, you see the emotions that went behind making the decision,” added Robin Uthappa.
“When he comes to the crease, the energy and the vibe from the spectators is spectacular. And he did what he does best against Mumbai. We were behind in that game and for him to come and knock that off with such composure, was outstanding to watch,” said Devon Conway.
