In this match, CSK secured a four-wicket win over MI. MI struggled in the first innings, posting a modest 155/9, as Noor Ahmad delivered an outstanding spell, picking up four wickets. Khaleel Ahmed complemented Noor’s efforts, taking three wickets and dismantling MI’s batting momentum.
Rachin Ravindra emerged as CSK’s hero in the chase, scoring an unbeaten 65 off 45 balls and leading his team to victory in the final over. Despite a run-out mix-up that saw Ravindra Jadeja dismissed, Dhoni entered the crease amidst loud cheers from the Chepauk crowd. However, Dhoni faced only two balls without scoring, as Rachin struck a massive six on the first delivery of the last over to clinch the win for CSK.

With that victory, CSK has jumped to third position in the points table. They will now face RCB in their upcoming fixture on March 28 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
