‘We competed well’

The CSK coach did not shy away from admitting that LSG gave a fitting response to the home side. He lauded Marcus Stoinis for leading the side to victory with his match-winning cnetury. He further hailed skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad for his ‘crafty’ knock that saw CSK amass a huge total on board at the end of the first innings.

We saw another great hundred from Marcus Stoinis. So, they answered pretty well. In the end, it was a good game of cricket. We feel we competed well, given the conditions, but under pressure we let little things slip,” Fleming added.
