MPCA’s great gesture: specially-abled can get counter tickets for IND vs AUS 2nd ODI

India and Australia played a 3-match ODI series in March as well.

The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) announced on Friday, September 15, that fans who belong to the ‘specially-abled category’ will be able to enjoy live action for the upcoming IND vs AUS 3-match ODI series. The 2nd ODI of the India vs Australia series will be held at the Holkar Stadium on September 24. Tickets for the match can be purchased through the box office at the Holkar Stadium on September 17.

The box office at the Holkar Stadium can be easily located when fans enter through the Satish Malhotra Gate. The sale of tickets will start at 11 a.m. on September 17 and will go on until the allotted number of tickets is finished.

The stipulation to buy the ticket is that only individuals with a ‘duly valid’ certification from government-recognized authorities, such as a civil surgeon, can buy a ticket.

Fans with also be provided with one complimentary ticket for the person accompanying them once their ‘duly valid’ certificate is verified.

Cost and mode of payment for specially-abled fans buying the ticket for IND vs AUS 2nd ODI?

Apart from their physical presence at the stadium to buy the tickets, specially-abled fans can only purchase them with cash.

The price of the tickets for fans belonging to the ‘specially-abled category’ in the West Stand Lower Section has been set at Rs 300.
