Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi reclaimed the top spot in the list of most Test wickets in 2021 after picking up a fifer on Day 4 of the ongoing Chattogram Test against Bangladesh and went past India’s R Ashwin to reclaim the summit position.

Shaheen Shah Afridi – who pushed Bangladesh on the backfoot by removing the top three batters on Day 3 – continued his red-hot form & accounted for two more wickets on Day 4 to complete his 4th fifer in Test cricket. Afridi returned with an impressive figure of 5/32 and helped Pakistan restrict the host at 157.
