Coming into bat after the fall of skipper Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav drove a dagger through the Dutch hearts with a stunning assault at SCG on Thursday. In his typical fashion, Surya pulled off some audacious shots to build a fine 95-run stand with Virat Kohli to take India to 179.
Suryakumar was batting on 45 when he hit the last ball of the innings for a gigantic six to reach yet another half-century. The 32-year-old got to the milestone in just 25 balls, the fourth fastest by an Indian.
