Sunrisers Hyderabad, once known as a strong bowling team, have shown a contrasting performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. After a match against MI where runs leaked freely, they shattered their own record and registered SRH vs RCB as the match with the most runs scored in IPL history.

In the SRH vs RCB match, both teams together scored 549 runs, which equals the record set in the SRH vs MI match played on March 27.
Batting first, SRH put up the highest total in IPL history, scoring 287/3. Travis Head smashed the fourth fastest IPL century to guide his team to a mammoth total. In response, RCB did not surrender, as their batters put up a tough fight and scored 262/7, losing the game by just 25 runs.
SRH had scored 277 against Mumbai Indians at their home venue, marking the highest IPL total at that time. MI also fought hard in the match and posted 246. Both teams scored 523 runs on that day.
