The Delhi cricketer went past former Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara after scoring his 49th century on his birthday to move to the top 2 spot in the most 50+ scores in ODI. Kohli is the only active player on the list, with 49 centuries (joint most in ODIs) and 70 fifties (10th most of all time).
Kumar Sangakkara (118)
The former Sri Lankan skipper was not too far away from Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 96 fifties when he retired. However, his making just 25 hundred saw Sangakkara finish second with 118 50+ scores in ODI.
