More ICC titles for Rohit Sharma? Jay Shah predicts India will win 3 trophies in next 9 months

Mumbai recently hosted the 26th edition of CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) Awards, presenting several cricketers with prestigious recognitions.

Remember when Jay Shah, during the inaugural of Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, announced that Rohit Sharma will hoist the Indian flag on Barbados soil. The statement was made keeping in mind the T20 World Cup 2024, that Team India eventually won after beating South Africa in a thrilling final. However, the BCCI chief secretary has now come up with another similar prediction.

India to win 3 ICC titles soon?

In a recent CEAT Award function, Jay Shah overtly put forward his desire to see Team India win the next troika of ICC tournament. He said that just what Rohit did in Barbados, Team India could win the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup (2024), ICC Champions Trophy (2025) and World Test Championship (2025). He said, “Like I said in Rajkot, Rohit Sharma will hoist the flag in Barbados – if we have the blessings of 1.4 billion people then we can do the same in Champions Trophy, WTC & Women’s T20I World Cup“.

The CEAT Cricket Rating Awards ceremony took place in Mumbai on Wednesday, August 21, and several players from all around the world received awards.
