Mohammed Shami has been out of the Indian team since the World Cup final in 2023, and has suffered many setbacks due his injury issues. Mohammed Shami Fit for Champions Trophy?

Even skipper Rohit Sharma had spoken on Shami’s fitness during the recently concluded series. “I think it’s high time somebody from NCA talked about him. That’s our national cricket academy where he is rehabbing. Those guys are the ones who need to come up and give us some kind of update. But look, I understand he’s playing a lot of cricket back home, but there have been some complaints about his knee as well,” Rohit said in the post-match press meet.

But now Mohammed Shami seems to have taken the initiative himself. On Tuesday, the pacer shared a video, with the caption “Precision, Pace, and Passion, All Set to Take on the World! 🌍💪,” giving hope to the fans, that he might return soon, and maybe also play in the Champions Trophy 2025.
