A massive disadvantage might be in line for India in a high-octane clash as Mohammed Shami looks under an injury cloud. The star pacer had a horrible start in the India vs Pakistan clash as he bowled as many as five wide deliveries, dishing out 11 balls in his first over. Now we know that his leg injury might have played a part. After bowling three overs, Shami went out of the playing field and Rohit Sharma was forced to bring in Hardik Pandya.
Mohammed Shami injured in IND vs PAK match?
For those unaware, Shami has been coming after a long hiatus. He had an ankle surgery after the BCCI progressed Shami’s return sporadically. Shami made his domestic comeback and played all three formats before coming in for the India vs England series. Shami was seen with a strapping on his right leg as well, the same leg he endured discomfort as well. He had to take a break in the middle of his third over and was forced to go out for a recovery in the match.
Update: Mohammed Shami returned to the crease and looked in a much better touch in his second spell. He bowled the 12th over.
