PAK vs AUS: Mohammad Rizwan hammers brilliant fifty to make case for selection in PAK Playing XI

Pakistan Cricket Team star batter wicket keeper Mohammad Rizwan is preparing himself for the PAK vs AUS 2nd Test. One of the biggest shockers in the Perth Test was when keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed was picked ahead of Rizwan. Now Rizwan has struck a fine fifty in a one day practice match against Victoria XI to make his case for the 2nd Test.

Australia humiliated Pakistan by clinching a 360 run win in the Perth Test. But Pakistan now wants to come with a full firing squad which will be greatly boosted by the inclusion of Mohammed Rizwan.

The 31-year old struck an unbeaten half century against Victoria XI in a practice game for the Men in Green, Rizwan’s fine knock will now surely cause a big headache for the board.

With Pakistan aiming a comeback in the second Test as Rizwan is likely to pip Sarfaraz. The latter managed to score 35 runs in the practice match but was poor with the bat against the Aussies in the first match. He only managed to score a combined of 7 runs in the first match.

Not only is Rizwan a better wicketkeeper, Rizwan has shown that he can walk the talk with his bat. With the aim to score big runs in the next Test match, Rizwan is likely to get a chance in the Playing XI and his fifty in the Practice match will surely strengthen his case.
