Pakistan A skipper Mohammad Haris has drawn comparison with Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav regarding their style of batting. To note, the Men in Green are set to take on India A in a group stage encounter of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023. The match will be played on Wednesday (July 19).
Speaking further about his batting, Haris said that he wants to be a 360-degree player like AB de Villiers and Suryakumar but he never compares them with the above-mentioned batters. The young batter also said that Surya is much older than him and he needs to work on his batting to reach that level.

“We shouldn’t compare between the two of us just yet, Surya is 32-33 years old, I am still a 22-year-old boy. To reach that stage I still have to put that work in,” he told Pak TV.
“Surya has his own level, De Villiers had his own level and I am my own level well. I want to make a name for myself as a 360-degree cricketer, not use theirs,” Haris added.
Speaking on facing India in their group stage match, Haris said that it is like facing just any other team and they will give their best. “All teams are just like the other for us. We have come to play this tournament, we haven’t come to play India. We will play against India just like we played against every other team,” he concluded.
