MLC have already five grounds on their radar for an upgrade. They are now in negotiations to build new venues at Marymoor Park in Redmond. One venue in Washington and two in California.
“This array of venue developments in areas with significant cricket-passionate communities comes as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has identified the United States as its primary target market to expand the game with the award of co-hosting rights to the 2024 T20 Men’s World Cup,” Sameer Mehta, co-founder of Major League Cricket, said.

MLC’s massive announcement has come after it finally acquired its first venue in November 2002 at AriHogs Stadium in Dallas. But according to reports, the construction work has not begun due to logistical problems. After discussions about the same, the MLC will start the construction work in April 2022.

MLC also is committed to making upgrades in a venue in North Carolina, as well as two grounds in Houston. MLC officials are also in talks to open three grounds in the new west coast part of the USA.
