The Indian spin-trio of Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin wreaked havoc on the five-time world champions. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah gave the Aussies an early blow, with Virat Kohli taking a stunning catch at first slip off dangerous Mitchell Marsh without troubling the scorers.
Experienced David Warner (41 off 52) and Steven Smith (46 off 71) added 69 runs for the second wicket. However, the Indian tweakers turned the tide in their favour as Jadeja ended his spell with 3-28.
