The Proteas pace sensation overtook Mayank Yadav, who had bowled a 155.8 kmph delivery against PBKS. Coetzee narrowly missed out on an all-time IPL record, missing Shaun Tait’s 157.71 kmph record by a whisker.

Coetzee bowled the fastest delivery in the last over of RR’s innings. Riyan Parag, who remained unbeaten on 54 runs, managed to get a top-edge off the delivery as the ball flew to the boundary.
