Knocked India out – Mignon du Preez was excellent in the Women’s World as she scored an unbeaten 52 off 63 deliveries to guide South Africa home. In astonishing manner she was dismissed but was later given not out as the ball was dimmed to be no ball. Mignon du Preez then successfully led South Africa to chase 276 and knock India out of the tournament.
Career – Mignon du Preez is considered as one of the best players of her generation as she represented the national side on multiple occasions. Mignon du Preez played 154 ODIs for the Proteas as she scored 3760 runs, with a best of 116. Mignon du Preez scored two hundreds and 18 fifties in her brief career with the national side. She also represented her nation in one Test and was successful in scoring a hundred with a best of 102.
