MI WPL Jersey: Mumbai Indians have revealed their first-ever Women’s Premier League jersey. The WPL 2023 jersey by Mukesh Ambani-owned franchise was launched on Saturday (February 25). Mumbai Indians will kick start their inaugural WPL season by playing against Gujarat Giants on March 4. The MI squad also came together for their first-ever practice session on Saturday. The Mumbai-based team kept the blue as the main colour of the shirt but added a hint of orange to the sides to give it a different appearance from that of the men’s team.
Designed by Monisha Jaisingh, the distinctive MI Blue & Gold colour scheme, incorporates a touch of coral as a nod to Mumbai’s stunning coastline, stunning sunsets, and sun’s energising energy.

WPL 2023
Five teams will compete against one another twice in a round-robin format over the course of three weeks. The Brabourne Stadium and the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai will serve as the venues for the whole competition. The evening games are set for 7:30pm IST, while the afternoon games are set for 3:30pm IST, just as the IPL seasons.
The teams that placed second and third in the league stage would compete against one another in an elimination round (March 24, 2023 at DY Patil Stadium), with the victor going up against the team that finished first in the standings in the championship game (March 26, 2023 at Brabourne Stadium).
