MI vs SRH Head-To-Head: The past record in numbers
The competition between the two franchises has been intense over the years. Sunrisers Hyderabad have played a total of 20 matches against each other. Mumbai has two more wins than Hyderabad, with 11 wins in 20 matches. Hyderabad have sealed nine matches in the rivalry.
IPL 2013 saw the first match between the two teams, in which MI defeated SRH by seven wickets. Till 2018, SRH were leading the stats with seven wins in 12 matches. However, MI took an edge over SRH after winning five out of seven matches since 2019.
