Livingstone was playing on two runs when Rohit brought back Archer for his second over. The express pacer decided to test Livingstone with a short-length delivery. However, the English batter was ready to pounce on it. The right-handed batter went back and across to smash a 101 meter maximum to his national teammate.
However, Livingstone could not do much in his innings as he was scalped by the veteran spinner Piyush Chawla for 10 runs. To note, the foreign batter also got out cheaply in his previous outing against RCB.
Meanwhile, PBKS are missing their permanent skipper Shikhar Dhawan who was declared unfit for the game. “Back to back games and not much time to think about it. No Shikhar, that’s why I am here but he’s recovering and should be back soon. Great opportunity for the others to put their hand and we are going with the same team. Lot of close games for us. We would have bowled as well, that is the trend but hopefully we do well. Have a good powerplay and then take it from there,” PBKS stand-in skipper Sam Curran said at the toss.
