MI probable Playing 11 for IPL 2024

The Mumbai Indians already had a strong lineup, but the addition of Hardik Pandya, Gerald Coetzee, Romario Shepherd, and Dilshan Madushanka has further bolstered their squad.

The Mumbai Indians (MI) hunt for a sixth IPL title will begin on March 24. Entering the 2024 season as one of the heavy favorites for the title, the franchise will be playing under a new skipper after a decade. In a shock announcement last year, the 5-time champions announced that Hardik Pandya will be their captain going forward, with Rohit Sharma playing just as a batter for the first time since 2012.

Despite concerns that a change in leadership could destabilize the team, no one can overlook the strength of the Mumbai Indians squad. MI already had a settled line-up, but they needed a few foreign players to cover for Jofra Archer, Jhye Richardson, Duan Jansen, and Tristian Stubbs.

The addition of Hardik Pandya in place of Cameron Green, bringing Romario Shepherd from the Lucknow Super Giants, and buying Gerald Coetzee, Mohammad Nabi and Dilshan Madushanka at the auction have made them an even better side. But skipper Pandya will need to make full use of the potential they have in their squad. So, here is the MI Probable Playing 11 for the IPL 2024 season:
