The Mumbai side is coming off a thrilling victory over Rajasthan Royals, where Tim David’s heroics helped the team chase down a daunting target of 213 runs in 19.3 overs.

Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly one of the best opening batters in world cricket. However, the opening batter has struggled to score runs consistently and will be eyeing big innings. On the other hand, Ishan Kishan has been hot and cold throughout the season and has a safe pair of hands behind the stumps.

MI also has Tilak Varma and Tim David, who are both valuable players. Tilak has been exceptional with the bat, scoring 248 runs in eight matches at an impressive strike rate of 152.14. He will aim to continue his excellent performance for the five-time IPL champions in their upcoming match.

Suryakumar Yadav, who struggled at the start of the tournament, has finally found his rhythm and is enjoying batting at number 4 once again.

As for David, the 27-year-old played an outstanding inning of 45* runs off just 14 balls to lead his team to victory against Sanju Samson & Co. The talented batsman will be eager to perform well in the upcoming match.

In bowling, Jofra Archer returned to XI after missing 5 matches and he will continue to be part of the Playing team against Punjab Kings as well.

Piyush Chawla, and Kumar Kartikeya will lead the spin charge from MI, while Arshad Khan, Jofra Archer, and Riley Meredith will spearhead the pace attack.
