“Excited to be here, excited to be in India and at a great franchise. Hopefully, we can play some really good cricket and entertain the fans and then win lots of games,” David said after arriving in Mumbai.
Besides David, Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat has also joined the team hotel. The most successful team of this competition are currently based at the Trident BKC hotel and will start their preparatory camp in a few days’ time.
Besides these two players, support staff have also arrived at the Trident BKC. Data performance manager CKM Dhananjai, Data Analyst L Varun, Sports Massage Therapist Amit Shah, Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach Nagendra Prasad and bowling coach Shane Bond have also checked in at the hotel.
