Youngster Dewald Brevis stepped made his T20I debut against Australia on Wednesday (August 30). Ever since ending as the top run-scorer in the U19 World Cup a year ago, Brevis steadily climbed up the ladders plying his trade in franchise T20 cricket including the IPL, where he played for Mumbai Indians alongside his India U19 compatriot Tilak Varma.

The two became good friends and when Tilak Varma made his India debut in West Indies recently, Brevis shared a heartwarming message for his friend, wishing him the best of luck.
