After two days of thrilling cricket between India and Australia, it is currently Australia who is enjoying the sessions in the MCG Test. However, India has had its fair share of moments, especially when we saw a long stand between Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Both players made a partnership of more than 100 runs, pushing India back into the game. But just when a few minutes were left in play, we witnessed some drama as Jaiswal was run out due to a lack of communication during a local hero Scott Boland over. This led to India losing two more quick wickets, leaving them at 164 for 5.
Jaiswal made 82 runs, while Kohli contributed 36. Rohit Sharma, once again, disappointed his fans, scoring only 3 runs.
