Young Indian pacers Mayank Yadav, Akash Deep, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Tushar Deshpande, Umran Malik and Yash Dayal have reportedly received central contracts from the BCCI. The handing out of the contract to these stars comes after their stellar performance in IPL 2024.
The seven bowlers who have received the fast bowling contract from the BCCI are expected to be the frontline pacers for India in the shortest format of the game going forward.

Mayank, representing the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in his limited opportunities, left a lasting impression with his raw pace. In just four matches, he scalped seven wickets at a phenomenal average of 12.14 and an economy rate of 6.98. Despite his success in the IPL, Mayank has not been included in India’s tour to Zimbabwe that sees the inclusion of many other youngsters who have outperformed in the IPL.
Tushar Deshpande had yet another successful IPL edition despite CSK being knocked out of the tournament before the playoffs.
