What time will IPL auction start?
Since IPL auction dates are coinciding with the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia in Perth. But despite this, BCCI has managed to resolve the issue. The India vs Australia Test match will begin at 7:50 AM IST on Sunday, with play concluding at 2:50 PM IST. The IPL 2025 mega auction will now begin 40 minutes after the day’s play ends, at 3:30 PM IST, instead of the initially planned 3:00 PM IST, as confirmed by Cricbuzz. This change follows requests from broadcasters JioCinema and Disney Star to prevent any overlap with the Test match. The IPL auction will be broadcast live on Star Sports channels in India and can also be streamed on the JioCinema app and website for fans across the country.
