Batting first in the contest, Mumbai Marines got their top-order going berserk, with opener Mihir agarwal going on to score 53 runs. Jesal Karia scored a century off just 56 deliveries while skipper Irfan Pathan played a cameo of 36 runs off 13 deliveries laced with two fours and four sixes. In response, Rajasthan Regals only managed to score 169 runs before being bowled out. Opener Samarth Srinivas was the top-scorer for the side after managing to score a half-century. MM managed to beat RR by 43 runs.
