Australia T20I skipper Mitchell Marsh can’t wait to dictate terms to the side’s Test skipper Pat Cummins in the upcoming AUS vs NZ T20I series. The series against the Kiwis will be Australia’s final bilateral series before the T20 World Cup 2024. So far, Marsh has played under Cummins in both ODIs and Tests.
Marsh ‘luckly’ to have Cummins by his side for AUS vs NZ T20Is
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the 1st T20I, Marsh had a hilarious response to a question involving Cummins. He says that he is pretty lucky to have someone line Cummins to fall back on. He counts on the experience of the side to get him through tough times.
“I can’t wait to tell (Pat Cummins) what to do,” Marsh laughed.
“I more so just feel pretty lucky to have someone like Pat as another leader in the group to fall back on.
“The experience we’ve got will help me at certain times throughout the series.”
