LSG vs SRH Head-To-Head: The past record in numbers
Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad have played just one match against each other. The match was played during IPL 2022. Indian Premier League 2023 will witness two games between these two franchises as both of them belong to the same group.
KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants defeated Kane Williamson’s Sunrisers Hyderabad by a margin of 12 runs. Lucknow batted first and put a fighting total of 169/7. Hyderabad were able to score just 157 runs in their 20 overs and were 12 runs short. Avesh Khan was named the player of the match who dismissed four batters of SRH for 24 runs.
The big boost for Hyderabad will be the availability of their regular skipper Aiden Markram who is expected to join the Orange Army latest by April 03. This means that he will take over the mantle from Bhuvneshwar Kumar who captained the side against Rajasthan Royals. It will be interesting to see whether the Nawabs of Lucknow continue their momentum or Hyderabad will add the two valuable points to their tally.
