LSG vs PBKS Predicted Playing XI: Shivam Mavi likely to get a look in for LSG, PBKS to remain unchanged

While Lucknow Super Giants are yet to open their account in IPL 2024, Punjab Kings have won one and lost one so far.

LSG vs PBKS Predicted Playing XI: KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants will return to their home turf in the Ekana Cricket Stadium when they welcome Punjab Kings for another mouth-watering clash of IPL 2024. LSG are yet to get off the mark in IPL 2024, having lost to Rajasthan Royals in the season opener. Punjab Kings on the other hand are coming on the back of a loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru after winning their opening game against Delhi Capitals.

Lucknow Super Giants: Shivam Mavi for Yash Thakur

Yash Thakur, who played the first match for the Lucknow Super Giants against Rajasthan Royals proved to be super expensive in that outing. Thakur conceded runs at over an economy rate of 14. He can be replaced by Shivam Mavi if the pitch has a bit of pace in it. Mavi can also bowl with the new ball as Mohsin Khan leaked a lot of runs in the game against RR too.

Predicted LSG Playing XI

Quinton de Kock (wk), KL Rahul (capt), Devdutt Padikkal, Ayush Badoni, Nicholas Pooran, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Naveen-ul-Haq, Deepak Hooda/Shivam Mavi

Punjab Kings: No changes expected

Punjab Kings have named an unchanged line-up in the past two matches. They are unlikely to change their formula in the match against Lucknow Super Giants. In both games so far, Kings have used Prabhsimran Singh and Arshdeep Singh as their impact subs depending on the toss result, and that is likely to continue.

Predicted PBKS Playing XI

Shikhar Dhawan (c), Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Shashank Singh, Harpreet Brar, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Arshdeep Singh/Prabhsimran Singh
