LSG vs GT Head-To-Head: The past record in numbers
Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans have played a couple of IPL matches against each other. The Titans sealed both the games against the Super Giants. Lucknow will eye their first win against the defending champions on Saturday.
In the first match between the two teams, GT defeated LSG by five wickets. Lucknow batted first and scored 158 runs in the first innings, featuring Deepak Hooda’s 55 off 41 balls and Ayush Badoni’s 54 off 41 balls. Gujarat chased down the target in the last over with the help of 40 off 24 balls from Rahul Tewatia. Mohammed Shami of the Gujarat Titans was awarded the player of the match after claiming three wickets for 25 runs.
Gujarat defeated Lucknow in the second match too, this time by 62 runs. GT put 144 runs on the board batting first. Shubman Gill scored a classy 63 off 49 balls. LSG batters looked helpless in front of Rashid Khan and got bowled out for just 82 runs. The leg-spinner picked up four wickets for 24 runs.
