LSG vs DC: Jake Fraser & Rishabh Pant take Delhi to second win of season

It is a clash of the teams at the polar opposite of the IPL 2024 points table as LSG take on DC in match number 26 in Lucknow

So finally, after a long while, Delhi Capitals went on to register a massive win in the IPL 2024, their second of the season. After restricting Lucknow Super Giants for 167, Delhi went on to achieve the target with six wickets to spare.

Lucknow Super Giants have managed to finish at 167/7 at the end of 20 overs, thanks to Ayush Badoni’s handy fifty. The duo of Badoni and Arshad stitched together a crucial partnership after the top-order collapse.

Kuldeep Yadav was the best among the DC bowlers, as he picked up three wickets and conceded 20 runs in his four-over spell. D need 168 runs to win the game against LSG.

Who Won Yesterday’s IPL match?

Delhi Capitals beat Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets on Friday, to register their only second win of the season. Once again Kuldeep Yadav was the star of the show for the team, as he returned with figures of 3/20. As far as batting is concerned, Jake Fraser McGurk and Rishabh Pant made massive contributions, to take the team over the line.

We will bat first. I don’t have an answer to that (good record batting first.) We want to start fresh, looks like a good wicket. I don’t think dew is going to play a part. It (new pitch) has made a huge difference. You can bowl well, bat well, express yourselves, the boundaries are big and the bowlers enjoy playing here. The batters are enjoying batting as well.
